New pups

Here are our new Karakachan puppies Tasha (black and white) and Moose (brown and white) at 7 weeks, they were born in January 2015.  They are growing like weeds now and are doing great in their training to be livestock guardian dogs for us.

You must come to the farm and meet Moose and Tasha this fall. You can find out how their names honor the homeland of the breed in Bulgaria. You can also meet Brave Heart and Zack! Hopefully Suzanne and I will be at the farm for your visit but we are busy right now on our cattle ranch in YeeHaw Junction, Florida. Which is the heart of cattle country.

If we are at the place where our heart resides which is Glen Eyrie and you come to visit, you can meet the famous Recon and Hazzard. Aussie pups that travel with us all the time.

They are getting big now! Their Dad weighs around 130 pounds. Bucky our full size male protects sheep at another farm in Rappahannock County. They are fiercely loyal to the sheep but so gentle with people. Karakachan dogs have protected sheep in Bulgaria for centuries.
