On our first return to Glen Eyrie I approached the fence to check out Brave Heart and the growing sheep. Brave Heart, not knowing me, by pure protective instinct slid between me and the sheep. He was standing tall when I snapped this picture. Llamas are good protectors!

So majestic, and very handsome. What a good boy to take such good care of the sheep.

Brave Heart had his summer clipping not long after this picture. It is amazing how much hair these critters pack on. He has a pasture buddy named Original Sin. They love hanging with the sheep and goats.

I hope you check out Zack….the most handsome Galloway Bull in all of Virginia and Gizmo who makes the saying “the buck stops here” a reality.
